Women's Volleyball Wins in Three over UNOH

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team rolled its win streak to five with a 3-0 sweep of WHAC opponent Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday at the SHU Fieldhouse. Set scores were 25-18, 25-23, 25-21.

Olivia Norman led the way for SHU (13-4, 5-3) with 11 kills and three blocks while Jessica Holsapple totaled 11 assists and six aces. Payton Osborne made 14 digs.

The Saints fell behind 2-0 in the opening set before storming back on a 14-0 run behind the service of Holsapple. During that stretch, Holsapple smashed three aces, Osborne set three assists and Devyne Eisenhauer put down three kills.

Holsapple was behind the service line during the Saints' set-ending run in the second. SHU trailed 22-20 before finishing with a 5-1 stretch. Holsapple had two assists and one ace in that stretch while Norman blasted two kills.

The third set ended with another 5-1 flurry by SHU, with Holsapple dealing from beyond the line. Norman had two kills before the final two points were UNOH attack errors.

The Saints will return to action on Friday with a 7 p.m. contest at WHAC opponent Lourdes.
