Women's Volleyball Runs Win Streak to Four at CUAA

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team earned its fourth straight WHAC win with a 3-1 victory at Concordia on Saturday. Set scores, in favor of SHU, were 18-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-22.

Taylor Wegener finished with 12 kills, 20 digs and five blocks while Kinsey Wagner contributed nine kills and five blocks. Jessica Holsapple had eight kills and 19 digs.

Also for the Saints (12-4, 4-3), Aubrey Bates totaled 37 assists and 22 digs while Payton Osborne dug 30 balls. Devyne Eisenhauer finished with 12 digs.

SHU trailed 1-0 after the opening set before rallying to take the next three. The Saints held a 17-16 edge in the second before closing the set with a 8-2 run.

Siena Heights broke a 2-2 tie with five straight points in the third and led the rest of the way in that set. During the fourth, the teams were knotted at 20-all before a four-point SHU run helped the Saints close in on the win.

SHU will play next on Wednesday when it hosts Northwestern Ohio for a 7 p.m. contest at the SHU Fieldhouse.
