FORT WAYNE, Indiana – The Siena Heights women's volleyball team defeated RV Indiana Tech, becoming second in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. Continuing the winning streak, SHU is now 9-1 in conference play. Holding a seven-game win streak, six of which are three-set sweeps.

Olivia Norman boasted 13 kills and five blocks during the game. As Devyne Eisenhauer put down 12 kills, tallied 13 digs, and one service ace. Payton Osborne collected four assists and 14 digs moving closer to the 1,000-career dig mark. Setter Aubrey Bates delivered 38 assists during the match while picking up one kill, one block, five aces, and 14 digs.

Jumping to an early lead and never looking back the Saints took set one 25-21, as the team held long service runs controlling the momentum of the set. Digging a hole in the second, Siena could not make a comeback to earn the seventh sweep in a row. Bouncing back the Saints marched headfirst into set three ready for battle. Trading point for point the set saw five lead changes until the team created space during Eisenhauers time behind the line. Service from Kinsey Wagner and a major kill from Norman would end the set with a Siena victory. Moving into the fourth SHU stepped it up seeing massive defensive efforts and key plays to put down the Warriors and end the game with a 3-1 Siena Heights victory.

Quote From Coach:

"A team needs to be gritty on the road ...and we were gritty tonight! Lots of people stepped up at different moments. Kadie played like a junior and Olivia ruled the Net all night!"
