Saints Take Down Racers in 3-0 Sweep

LIMA, Ohio - The Siena Heights University Saints women's volleyball team advanced their win streak to five with a 3-0 sweep of the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers. Defeating UNOH 25-23, 27-25, and 25-18 to make the Saints 7-1 in the conference and 11-6 overall.

Freshman Devyne Eisenhauer paved the way for SHU tallying 14 kills and 10 digs. Kinsey Wagner had five blocks, six kills, and two digs. Setter Aubrey Bates collected 30 assists, five kills, and nine digs. While Libero Payton Osborne picked up 16 digs and earned two assists.

In set one, the Saints and Racers traded points back and forth seeing 16 tied scores. SHU ended the set with a service run from Osborne that yielded one service ace and a kill from Wagner. Continuing to fight Siena saw major runs during both Osbornes and Claire VanDyke's serve that allowed SHU to further the lead and steal set two from UNOH. From the start of the third set, Siena led the Racers as Bates ran the Saint's offense totaling 17 kills in the set.
