ADRIAN, Mich. – The Siena Heights women's volleyball team hosted the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils at home for a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match. The Saints swept LTU in three, making their WHAC record 5-1.

Freshman Devyne Eisenhauer led for the home team collecting 12 kills, 14 digs, and one assist. Taylor Wegener tallied 10 kills while picking up four digs and one block. Kinsey Wagner held three blocks and eight kills. Claire VanDyke totaled 11 digs as Payton Osborne picked up 14. Junior setter Aubrey Bates delivered 40 assists while collecting eight kills, and 17 digs.

A battle from the beginning the Blue Devils and Saints traded blows back and forth well into the twenties. SHU took the set with back-to-back kills from Norman and Kadie Carsten. Set two saw Siena Heights trailing Lawrence Tech with a point deficit of 4-8. With two strong service runs from Bates and Osborne SHU closed the gap to take the lead after a service ace from Carsten. Set two ended with a Siena victory as the match went into set three.

The last set started with Siena down 0-3, however, the relentless Saints offense powered through to seal a SHU victory overpowering the Blue Devils 25-17.

Quote From Coach:

"It's always nice to win and three. First, I think we were siding out, siding out, siding out, going back-and-forth. Then I thought we really need some solid, defensive plays and I think that really helped us rest of the match we dug in transition the best we have all year. I just saw our best effort in all six rotations."
