ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Siena Heights women's volleyball team competed in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup against the Rochester University Warriors. To further their conference record the Saints swept the Warriors in a 3-0 match, making the record 4-1.
Devyne Eisenhauer led Siena with 11 kills, 28 digs, and one ace. Kinsey Wagner also boasted 11 kills while picking up three digs. Olivia Norman and Kadie Carsten each held eight kills with a combined total of seven blocks. Libero Payton Osborne collected 21 digs as setter Aubrey Bates put up 32 assists, three kills, and 11 digs.
Jumping to an early lead Siena Heights dominated the home team, as Bates ran her offense. Utilizing Norman, Eisenhauer, and Wagner to reach a 9-4 lead. The Saints maintained the score gap to claim set one. Similarly set two saw an early lead from SHU as they bulldozed through the defensive line of Rochester to see a 10-4 lead that created enough separation for Siena two go up two sets to none. Set three saw a strong offensive showing from the visiting Saints who brought down 16 kills, to end the game 3-0.
