Berrington Reaches 500 Career Wins

Siena Heights women's and men's head volleyball coach Kim Berrington reached her 500th win last week in the team's 3-2 victory over Aquinas. Since her 500th win, the Saints defeated Indiana Tech which brings her current overall record to 501-409 and gives her a win percentage of .551.

Berrington began her head coaching career at Concordia in 1992 where she coached for four seasons. After her time at Concordia, she moved to another head coaching position at NCAA DI Eastern Michigan where she remained for 19 seasons before coming to Siena Heights in 2015.

During her time at EMU, Berrington accumulated a 305-289 record, making her the Eagles' all-time winningest coach and fourth in conference wins among all Mid-American Conference coaches.

Berrington is now in her third season at SHU where she is at the helm of both the women's and men's squads. At Siena Heights, she holds a 93-44 record and a .679 win percentage.

When asked about what helped her to this milestone in her career, Coach Berrington talked about her passion for volleyball, and the fire she has inside that drives her to success. Berrington discusses all of the players that she has been able to impact along the way and all the great relationships that have been built through coaching and caring for her athletes.

With the women's season still underway and the men's season following, Berrington will look to add on to her win total as she leads the Saints.
