Women's Volleyball Set For Three WHAC Contests

THE MATCHES
The Siena Heights women's volleyball team is set for three Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matches this week, and look to extend their current four game win streak. First, they will travel to Grand Rapids, Mich. on Wednesday to take on Cornerstone, before returning home to host Northwestern Ohio on Friday. The Saints will end their week by heading down to Ft. Wayne, Ind. to battle Indiana Tech. 

SHU enters the week after beating Concordia, 3-0, in a WHAC contest last week. This gave the Saints (10-3, 4-1 WHAC) their fourth straight win, and also their fourth consecutive conference win.

Cornerstone (13-7, 4-1 WHAC) faced No. 12 Lourdes in a WHAC match up last week and lost, 0-3. They rounded out their week but competeing in the Panther Invitational, hosted by Davenport, and finished 3-0 at the tournament after facing Trinity College (ILL.), Cardinal Stritch (WISC.) and Olivet Nazarene (ILL.).

Northwestern Ohio (9-11, 1-4 WHAC) traveled to take on Lawrence Tech in their only match last week. The Racers dropped the WHAC contest 2-3.

Indiana Tech (14-5, 4-1 WHAC) took on Marygrove in their only WHAC match last week. They also, competed in the Panther Invitational, hosted by Davenport. They fininshed the tournament with a 4-0 record, defeating Saint Xavier (ILL.), Olivet Nazarene (ILL.), Cardinal Stritch (WISC.) and Trinity Christian (ILL.).
