DETROIT, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team traveled to take on Marygrove in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest and completed the victory in three sets.

Set scores were 25-18, 25-21 and 25-22.

Taylor Purcell was a top the leader board for the Saints with 12 kills and five solo blocks. Libby Breton and Paige Hudgin added six and five kills resepctively.

Amanda Metz finished with 22 assists for SHU while Gabrielle Kalugar completed the match with 12 digs. Metz, Hudgin and Taylor Felver all had three aces.

Marygrove was led by Ashley Murphy and Hailey Brandes, both with 12 kills. Hayley Jury had a team high for the Mustangs in assists with 15, and digs, with eight.

Next up, SHU will head to Southfield, Mich. to battle WHAC conference opponent, Lawrence Tech, on Saturday, Sept. 17. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
