All three Siena Heights women's volleyball seniors -- Haley Mercy, Nicole Morgan and Carly Tillotson -- were named to the Capital One Academic All-District Team, which is chosen by CoSIDA (Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America).

The trio was honored in the District 1 College Division category, which encompasses Canadian schools and NAIA and two-year schools in Alabama, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.

Mercy majors in mathematics/secondary education, Morgan is a sport management major and Tillotson studies marketing.

Nominees for the CoSIDA award must have a GPA of 3.30 or higher and be of sophomore, junior or senior academic standing at their respective institution.
