LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to #22 ranked Madonna in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action on Wednesday.

Carly Tillotson broke 3,500 career assists on a kill from Ashleigh Shay making the score 3-2. Tillotson finished the match with 24 assists, bringing her career total to 3,523. She was also able to add three aces and eight digs.

Also for SHU (16-10, 8-9), Leze Vukaj had 15 kills while Shay and Taylor Felver each added four kills. Nicole Morgan added 11 digs. 

For Madonna (26-5, 15-2), Karlie Kelly led the way with 12 kills while Nicole Oestrike chipped in nine kills and three aces.

Spencer Stokes totaled 30 assists and Deanna Krumholz totaled 10 digs while Breanna Geile ended with nine.

Madonna opened the set with a 9-3 run, and held it for a 1-0 match lead.

Set two: Madonna 25, Siena Heights 19
The Crusaders opened with a 5-1 run. The Saints came within two at 13-11 before Madonna went on an 8-2 streak to cruise to the set win.

Set three: Madonna 25, Siena Heights 21
Madonna broke an early 2-2 tie going on a 6-2 run. Later in the set SHU would go on an 11-2 run sending the score to 23-20. Madonna would finished the match on a kill by Katie Breault.

The Saints will return to action on Sunday Nov, 1. SHU hosts a WHAC pool play and will face Concordia at noon and Indiana Tech at 3 p.m.
