ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team topped Marygrove, 3-1, in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup on Friday at the SHU Fieldhouse.

The Saints were led by Leze Vukaj, who finished the night with 17 kills and three total blocks. SHU won with set scores of 25-14, 20-25, 29-27, 25-12.

Abby Whitehead added 13 kills and one block for SHU. Carly Tillotson contributed 41 assists and 11 digs. Nicole Morgan finished with 18 digs.

Haley Mercy and Julie Bonk had four and three aces, respectively.

In set one, Siena Heights (8-6,5-5) took an early 5-1 advantage and led the rest of the way. Marygrove then evened the match at 1-all in set two.

In the third set, SHU and Marygrove played through seven ties -- the final one at 27-27 -- before. Whitehead had two kills to finish the match.

In the fourth, the Saints went on a 17-3 run. After that, SHU finished the match with three kills by Alexis McIntosh.

Marygrove was led by Ashley Murphy who had nine kills, and Hailey Brandes and Alixandria Pappas both had eight kills for the night. Hayley Jury has 28 assists. Erica Wilson and Amber Kelly finished with 16 and 15 digs, respectively.

Saints will host Indiana Tech Saturday in a WHAC contest at 1 p.m. at SHU Fieldhouse.
