THE MATCH
The Siena Heights women's volleyball team will host their second WHAC match on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m., at the SHU Fieldhouse against Northwestern Ohio.
SHU is coming off a 3-0 home victory over 13th-ranked Davenport, which it earned in a WHAC opener on Sept. 2.
Northwestern Ohio went 1-9 in its first 10 matches before rattling off three straight victories at its inaugural Silver Spike Tournament. The Racers went 3-1 at the Silver Spike on Sept. 4-5, earning wins over Midway (Ky.), Missouri Valley and Purdue North Central (Ind.). UNOH's only WHAC contest of the season was a 3-0 loss to Madonna on Sept. 2.
THE SERIES
Northwestern Ohio has won 8 of 9 matches against Siena Heights since 2009, including a pair of decisions in 2014. The Saints' last win over the Racers was a five-set victory on Oct. 16, 2013, in which SHU battled back from a 2-0 deficit.

NEXT UP
The Saints have a pair of matches this weekend -- one on the road and one at home. SHU will visit Lourdes (Ohio) for a 7 p.m. start on Friday before hosting Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Lourdes (6-0, 1-0) is off to its best start in program history. The Gray Wolves will visit Lawrence Tech in WHAC action on Wednesday.
Michigan-Dearborn (3-7, 0-1) is set to host Marygrove on Wednesday before visiting 17th-ranked Madonna on Friday.
