Women's Volleyball Falls at Aquinas

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Aquinas in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action on Wednesday.

Halie Baker had 13 kills while Mycala Cherry and Leze Vukaj contributed 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Vukaj also had six total blocks while Carly Tillotson made 44 assists.

Defensively, Nicole Morgan had 30 digs while Cherry and Tillotson chipped in with 13 each for the Saints, who won the first set, 29-27, but dropped the next three, 25-22, 25-19, 25-18.

MacKenzie Kolstad had 14 kills and 10 digs to lead Aquinas (21-10, 13-7). Brooke Wieland chipped in with 42 assists and 13 digs and Rachel Sprenger made 35 digs.

Michaela Ryan and Kenzie Haley chipped in with eight and seven total blocks, respectively.

The Saints (17-12, 9-11) will wrap up their regular season with matches WHAC matches against Marygrove and Lawrence Tech on Saturday.
