Women's Volleyball Edged by UNOH in Five

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team dropped a 3-2 decision to Northwestern Ohio in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Wednesday at the SHU Fieldhouse.

Halie Baker had 19 kills and Carly Tillotson contributed 44 assists and 17 digs for the Saints, who lost the match by scores of 25-20, 24-26, 25-18, 22-25, 15-13.

Mycala Cherry added 13 kills and 13 digs while Emily Abbs finished with 10 kills.

Defensively, Nicole Morgan and Haley Mercy finished with 33 and 17 digs, respectively.

UNOH (17-8, 11-2) was led by Chanel Cantere, who had 20 kills and 22 digs, and Hailey Rosinski, who compiled 53 assists and 19 digs.

The Saints (9-8, 6-7) will be in action next on Saturday when they host a four-team WHAC pod. Madonna, Lourdes and Michigan-Dearborn will visit the Fieldhouse with SHU taking on UMD at 10 a.m. and Lourdes at 4:30 p.m.
