#23 Women's Track and Field Places Third, Racks Four Individual Wins at GR HOF Meet

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's indoor track and field team claimed four individual wins and placed third among eight schools in team scoring at the Grand Rapids Hall of Fame Classic on Friday.

Emma Valentine led the way with an NAIA automatic-qualifying height while winning the high jump. She matched her season-high 1.70 meters (5 feet, 7 inches).

Tyler Fugate had an auto performance while winning the pole vault with a height of 3.57m (11-8 1/2). She is already qualified for Nationals.

Other winners were Isabelle Uganski in the 5,000-meter run and Linnearia Richards in the 60 hurdles.

Uganski finished the 5K in 18:48.40 while teammate Haley Bell ran to fifth in 19:56.76.

Richards' winning time in the 60 hurdles was 9.12 seconds. She was seeded No. 2 behind teammate Faith Jackson, who ran prelims in a provisional-time of 8.89 before she was unable to finish the final.

Valentine was followed in the high jump by teammates Morgan Lutton, third at 1.55m (5-1), and Rianna Vincent, fifth at 1.50m (4-11).
