Conrad Named WHAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week as Vaulters Stretch Streak to Four

Siena Heights women's pole vaulter Margherita Conrad was named WHAC Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference on Monday.

Conrad's earning of the award stretches the Saints' vaulters' streak to four weeks for the WHAC Field award. Conrad has won it twice while fellow vaulters Tyler Fugate and Erica Albrecht have also claimed the honor.

Conrad led a group of five SHU vaulters to reach auto heights at the Concordia Legacy Invitational. Conrad and teammate Tyler Fugate cleared 3.80 meters (12 feet, 5 1/2 inches) in the vault for first and second, respectively.
