Jackson, Vaulters Lead #14 Women's T&F at Concordia Legacy Invite

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Sprinter Faith Jackson and the pole vault crowd enjoyed NAIA automatic-qualifying performances for 14th-ranked SHU women's outdoor track and field over the weekend at the Concordia Legacy Invitational.

Jackson won two events and hit an auto in the 100-meter hurdles while vaulter Margherita Conrad led a quintet of Saints to hit auto heights.

Jackson was a winner in the 100 hurdles with her auto of 14.42 seconds. She was first in a 1-2-3 SHU finish in the 100 dash with a time of 12.51 seconds.

Conrad and teammate Tyler Fugate cleared 3.80 meters (12 feet, 5 1/2 inches) in the vault for first and second, respectively. Samantha Nowell, Chasity Mies and Erica Albrecht reached 3.65m (11-11 1/2) for third, fourth and fifth, respectively.
