Valentine High Jumps to Third, Earns All-America Honors as Women's T&F Ties For 10th at Indoor Nationals

BROOKINGS, S.D. -- Siena Heights high jumper Emma Valentine earned All-America honors as the Saints' women's indoor track and field team tied for 10th at the NAIA Championships, which took place at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Complex.

Valentine cleared 1.70 meters (5 feet, 7 inches) -- only 0.03m behind the leaders. Morgan Lutton also jumped, registering a height of 5-2 3/4 (1.59m).

In the team competition, the Saints had 23 points, tying with Hastings. Fellow WHAC member Indiana Tech won its third straight NAIA championship with 85.
