#11 Women's T&F Takes Five Events At Grand Rapids HOF Meet

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The 11th-ranked Siena Heights women's indoor track and field team ended with five individual wins on Friday at Aquinas' Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame Classic.

Faith Jackson was a double-winner in the 60-meter dash and 60 hurdles. Other winners included Morgan Turk <mile), Xochitl Garcia (5,000) and Emma Valentine (high jump).

Jackson won the 60 in 8.01 seconds and was followed by teammate Jenna-Ann Johnson in second place (8.10).

Jackson led another 1-2 effort in the 60 hurdles. She clocked in at 9.12 while Linnearia Richards hit the wire in 9.20.

Jackson, Johnson and Jocie Berry were 2-3-4 in the 200 with times of 27.05, 27.57 and 27.65, respectively.

Richards had a runner-up finish in the 400 in 1:01.24.

Turk finished the mile in 5:38.28 for her victory. She also placed runner-up in the 3,000 in 11:48.62.

Garcia ran the 5K in 19:16.49. Isabelle Uganski placed fourth in 21:19.60 and Jordyn Bronowski finished fifth in 21:30.30.

Valentine cleared 1.64 meters in the high jump (5 feet-4 1/2 inches). Teammates Daijah Hill and Morgan Lutton placed third and fifth, respectively, with top heights of 1.59 meters (5-2 1/2).

The SHU women's pole vaulters had a day that included five auto heights. The quintet finished second through sixth, in order: Tyler Fugate (3.82, 12-6 1/4), Chasity Mies (3.67, 12-0 1/2), Samantha Nowell (3.67, 12-0 1/2), Erica Albrecht (3.52, 11-6 1/2) and Margherita Conrad (3.52, 11-6 1/2).

Erin Gotha finished second in the weight throw with a 15.27m (50-1 1/4) while Jordan Lumbrezer took fifth with a 13.67m (44-10 1/4).

In the shot put, Skyler Beals was third (11.81m, 38-9) and Brooke Beyer finished fourth (11.74m, 38-6 1/4).

Tiffani Larder had a pair of fourth-place finishes in the long jump and triple jump with distances of 5.12m (16-9 3/4) and 10.16m (33-4).

Alexis Cordle finished third in the 600 (1:44.99), Bailey McCulloch ran to fifth in the 800 (2:32.14) and Emily Monroe was fifth in the 1,000 (3:19.02).

The Siena Heights 4x400 relay team of Cordle, Turk, Monroe and Garcia finished third in 4:22.64.
