HILLSDALE, Mich. -- Faith Jackson and Emma Valentine had winning performances while hitting NAIA automatic-qualifying standards as the Siena Heights women's track and field team competed at the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic on Friday and Saturday.

Jackson placed first in the 60-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 8.79 seconds, an improvement over her previous auto time of 8.81.

Valentine equaled her season-best in the high jump with an auto height of 1.67 meters (5-5 3/4).

Linnearia Richards had a pair of Top 5 finishes. She was runner-up in the 400 (1:01.50) and fifth in the 60 hurdles (9.16).

Bailey McCulloch finished fourth in the 400 with a 1:02.54.

The Saints had three pole vaulters improve on their previous auto heights. Margherita Conrad, Samantha Nowell and Chasity Miles finished second, third and fourth, respectively. All cleared 3.68 meters -- a season-best for each.

Tiffani Larder, Skyler Beals and Erin Gotha added fifth-place finishes for SHU; Larder, in the long jump, 4.93m (16-2 1/4), Beals in the shot put, 12.08m (39-7 3/4) and Gotha in the weight throw, 15.45m (50-8 1/4).
