The Siena Heights Women's Indoor Track and Field Team competed at the Tiffin Open on Friday, coming away with one automatic qualifying mark for the NAIA Indoor National Championship Meet.

Faith Jackson finished in second place in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.81 seconds to earn the automatic berth mark.  Jackson had hit the mark in a previous event this season, but shortened her time, beating her previous mark of 8.90 seconds.

The Saints saw a total of six additional top five placements for the meet.  Morgan Turk placed first in the one mile run with a time of 5:33.49.  Isabelle Uganski placed second in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 11:24.47.  Jackson also placed third in the 60 meters with a time of 7.96 while Linnearia Richards placed third in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.23 seconds.  Richards also notched a fifth place finish with her efforts in the 200 meters with a time of 26.90 with Erin Gotha rounding out the top five placements with her fifth place finish in the weight throw with a throw of 15.49 meters.

The Saints will return to action after the holiday break at the SVSU Invitational in January.
