Ten Women's Track and Field Athletes Hit Personal Best Marks at Hillsdale Wide Track

HILLSDALE, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's indoor track and field team competed at the Hillsdale Wide Track on Friday afternoon. The Saints had ten women's athletes hit personal-best marks in their events, while Faith Jackson hit an A-Standard in the 60 hurdles with her winning time of 8.95 seconds. Jackson also finished the 60-meter dash in third with a time of 8.06. In addition, she set a personal best time in the 200-meter with a time of 26.94, which was good enough for fourth place.

Samantha Scott placed second in the high jump with a personal-best mark of 1.54m in the event. Jenna Salek finished the 200-meter run with a PR of 26.50 for second place. Salek placed third in the 400-meter run (1:01.50) and fifth in the 60-meter (8.18).

Brianna Hatfield finished the high jump after clearing the bar at 1.54m to place third in the event. Isabelle Uganski ran the 5k with a PR of 20:00.19. Skyler Beals also finished third in the shot put with a heave of 11.42m. Beals set a PR in the weight throw with a toss of 12.88m for eighth.

Brooke Beyer finished fourth in the shot put (11.42m) and ninth in the weight throw (12.87m). Brianna Martin finished the 5k in 20:33.54 for fourth place. Chelsea Short also earned fourth in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:02.47.

McKenna Russell had two top-five finishes. The first was in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:03.57. The second was the 200-meter run with a time of 27.24. Russell was also eighth in the 60-meter dash.
