GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The 13th-ranked Siena Heights women's track and field team finished with 88 points for fifth place in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday.

Asia Gardner was the WHAC champion in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.72 giving her 10 team points and a spot on the first team All-WHAC. She also scored four team points with a fifth-place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 25.66. She finished her day scoring two points in the long jump with a leap of 5.34m (17-6.25) for seventh place.

Kierra Rice was the other conference champion for the Saints. She won the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.64 to gain 10 points and first-team All-WHAC honors.

Jaymz Gibson finished second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.42m (11-2.5). That finish earns her second-team All-WHAC as well as eight team points.

Chelsea Short finished the 400-meter run in 59.12 for third place which puts her on the third-team All-WHAC. Julia Forbes also made the third-team All-WHAC in the long jump with a 5.72m (18-9.25) marking. She also tallied two points in the triple jump with a seventh-place, 10.98m (36-0.25) hop.
