Siena Heights women's track and field athlete Haley Hudson was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) women's field athlete of the week this week as announced by the league office. This is Hudson's third time this year being named the conference field athlete of the week. 

The senior from Blissfield, Michigan won the shot put by breaking her own school record in the event with an "A-Standard" mark of 14.80m (48' 6.75"). That measurement puts her second in the country in the shot put.
