Women's Track & Field Team Tally 68 Points for 7th at the Hillsdale Wide Track Open

HILLSDALE, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's track and field team six athletes achieve personal best at the meet. The team totaled 68 points to finish seventh in the team standings.

Asia Gardner achieved an "A" standard time in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.31 for second place. She also helped the 4x400 relay team finish third with a season-high time of 4:01.96. She competed in the 60-meter dash where she finished sixth with a "B" standard time of 7.85.

Julia Forbes was second in the long jump with a best jump of 5.20m (17' 0.75") as well as an eighth in the triple jump with 10.48m (34' 4.75").

Mildrenae Young-Brooks earned a personal best in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.84, an "A" standard time, good for a fourth-place finish. She also was one of the members of the 4x400 relay team with Asia Gardner. Young-Brooks competed in the long jump (6th, 5.15m [16' 10.75"]) and the 200-meter dash (10th, 25.88 "B" standard).

Emily Hill finished fourth in the 400-meter run with a personal best time of 1:01.92. Haley Hudson finished fourth in the shot put with a best throw of 13.70m (44' 11.5"). Casie Nadasky finished the 800-meter run in 2:24.12 for fourth place.

The Siena Heights women's distance medley team made up of Casie Nadasky, Madisyn Kleinschmit, Delaney Stersic, and Andrea Crowe ran a season-high time of 13:26.76 for seventh.

Harlie Sweet achieved a personal best in the long jump with a mark of 5.15m (16' 10.75"). Rachel Wiltse finished the 5k in 21:14.90 for a personal best time. Madisyn Kleinschmit (60-meter dash in 7.89) and Harneet Singh (600-meter in 1:53.57) each tallied a personal best in their respective events.
