Siena Heights women's track and field senior Ashley O'Neill was awarded as the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week for her efforts at the Hillsdale "Wide-Track" Meet, on Friday and Saturday.

O'Neill threw a career-best 56 feet, 10 3/4 toss in the weight throw at Hillsdale to earn seventh place as the top NAIA finisher at the meet out of 50 competitor. This automatic-qualifying toss currently ranks her third in the NAIA

In the shot put, O'Neill the second-best NAIA finisher in the shot put with a 11.95m toss to earn 12th place of 41 athletes.
