WHAC Honors Gardner and McKinley as Athletes of the Week

The Siena Heights women's track and field team had two members honored by the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference as Athletes of the Week for the efforts in the Hillsdale Winter Opener. Asia Gardner earned WHAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week while Tasha McKinley earned WHAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Gardner earned a provisional-qualifying performance in the 60m dash, finishing first of 28 runners in 7.77 seconds. She is currently ranked fifth in the NAIA in the 60m dash.

In the pole vault, McKinley cleared her season-best height of 3.70 meters (12-5) to earn first place and automatic-qualifying marks. She is currently tied for second in the NAIA.

The Saints finished second of ten teams at the Hillsdale Winter Opener.
