Siena Heights women's track and field team member Kasey Renshaw claimed her fourth Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Indoor Field Athlete of the Week award for her performance at the 2016 WHAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, held on Saturday at Aquinas.

Renshaw broke the AQ indoor field (Alksnis Athletic and Recreation Building) records in the weight throw and shot put.

She threw 20.79 meters (68 feet, 2.5 inches) in the weight throw, breaking the record of 17.16m set there in 2015.

Renshaw set the previous record in shot put (14.06m) in 2015; she broke that record with a career best toss of 14.42m (47 feet, 3.75 inches).

Both throws qualify Renshaw to travel to the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Johnson City, Tenn. She is currently ranked first in the NAIA in the weight throw and fourth in shot put.
