ALLENDALE, Mich./FINDLAY, Ohio -- On Friday and Saturday, the Siena Heights women's track and field team traveled to the GVSU Big Meet and the Findlay Open. The team had one first place performance, one improved auto-qualifying performance and one improved provisional-qualifying performance. 

Phoenix Duncan finished first in the high jump, clearing the bar at 5 feet, 7.25 inches (1.71m) at GVSU. 

In the triple jump, Mildrenae Young-Brooks finished fourth with an auto-qualifying performance of 37-1.25 (11.31m).

Mariah Ridal added a provisional performance in the 600m run, finishing with a time of 1:38.22.

At Findlay, Haley Hudson took second in the shot put throwing a distance of 46 feet, 3.5 inches (14.11m). Kasey Renshaw finished third in the elite weight throw with a throw of 60-10.5 (18.55m).

Next up, the Saints will travel to Aquinas for the WHAC Indoor Championships on Saturday.
