Women's T&F Excels at Hillsdale Meet

HILLSDALE, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's track and field team finished the Hillsdale Wide-Track Classic with four first place finishes and three season records.

Stephanie Marquart finished first the 60 meter hurdles in 8.67 seconds for a season record. With the new time, Marquart is now ranked first in the NAIA.

In the high jump, Phoenix Duncan cleared the bar at 1.75 meters (5-8.75) for first place at the meet and the NAIA. Marissa Johnson took second place with a 1.70m clear.

Madison Pierce took second in the pole vault, clearing the vault at 3.80m (12-5.5) for a personal record and No. three ranking in the NAIA.

Haley Hudson is now ranked fourth in the NAIA in shot put after taking first plce at the meet with a toss of 14.31 meters (46 feet, 11.5 inches). This throw also give Hudson a new PR.

Siena Heights took second in the 4x800m relay with a provisional time of 9:47.28.
