Twenty Two Women's Soccer Student Athletes Honored by NAIA

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes awards.  The Siena Heights Women's Soccer Program had twenty one student-athletes earn this distinction. 

In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year.

Earning the award for the Saints was:

Sarah Ammon (2nd time), junior, exercise science major from Royal Oak, Michigan

Allison Balasico (1st time), senior, elementary education major from Westerville, Ohio

Parker Cheney (1st time), sophomore, biology major and psychology minor from Brownstown, Michigan

Madelyn Chronister (1st time), sophomore, criminal justice major and psychology minor from Troy, Ohio

Gianna Diaz (2nd time), junior, business administration major and spanish minor from Valparaiso, Indiana

Olivia Emert (3rd time), senior, biology major and chemistry minor from Walled Lake, Michigan

Reagan Fennelly (1st time), sophomore, environmental engineering major from Lapeer, Michigan

Alyssa Fischer (2nd time), junior, pre-nursing major from Sterling Heights, Michigan

Caitlyn Harwood (3rd time), grad student, nursing major from St. Clair Shores, Michigan

Kennedy Hyde (2nd time), junior, special education and psychology double major from Howell, Michigan

Christina Ibanez-Merino (2nd time), junior, elementary education major and education certificate minor from Madrid, Spain

Kaitlyn Jacobs (2nd time), junior, biology major and criminal justice minor from Blissfield, Michigan

Rachel Lynch (2nd time), junior, biology major from Ada, Michigan
