Women's Soccer Falls to #2 Spring Arbor in the National Tournament

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights Women's Soccer team fell to Spring Arbor 2-1 in round two of the national tournament. Sarah Ammon scored the first goal of the game for the Saints to take the 1-0 lead in the ninth minute of the game, Parker Cheney made the assist on that goal. In the 41st minute of the game, Isa Martinez scored an unassisted goal for the Spring Arbor Cougars to tie the game at one. In the second half, in the 70th minute, Lauren Moelling scored the game-winning goal for Spring Arbor to eventually win the game 2-1 for Spring Arbor. 

In shots on goal, Spring Arbor had 16 shots to the Saints' 10. On corner kicks, had the 10-1 advantage. 

 

The Saints finished the season 15-1-6, 9-0-2 in WHAC conference play, and a WHAC Championship.
