Women's Soccer Advances to Semifinals

Adrian, Mich. -- The Siena Heights Women's Soccer Team hosted University of Michigan-Dearborn and came out victorious winning 4-0. After Michigan-Dearborn scored their own goal, which gave the Saints the early 1-0 advantage in the fourth minute, the Saints dominated the rest of the game. Lily Tiplady scored the second goal of the game, which was assisted by Sara Ammon in the 18th minute. Maria Brixner in the 68th minute then scored an unassisted goal to put the Saints up 3-0. In the 86th minute, Keirra Thompson sealed the deal for the Saints as she scored the final goal to go up 4-0, this goal was assisted by Brixner. Goalkeeper, Caitlyn Harwood also had two saves. 

 

As far as shots on goal, The Saints dominated, winning that battle 23-4. 

On corner kicks, the Saints dominated that battle as well, with a 12-0 advantage. 

 

Next Up, The Siena Heights Women's Soccer Team will host the Semifinals, against Lawernce Tech, Saturday, November 4th, at 5 pm.
