Women's Soccer Punches Their Ticket to Nationals With WHAC Title

Howell, Mich. -- The Siena Heights Women's Soccer team has finished the regular season undefeated, with a tie for the WHAC Championship. The Siena Heights Women's Soccer team has also clinched the 1 seed in the WHAC Tournament, with an automatic bid to the national tournament.  After a scoreless first half, the Saints got on the board with a goal by Lily Tiplady, in the beginning of the 72nd minute. Then, in the 86th minute, Parker Cheney scored a goal off of a penalty kick to seal the deal for the Saints. 

 

The Saints dominated the Cleary Cougars with 31 shots on goal, to the Cougars' 6. 

 

On corner kicks, the Saints dominated as well, winning that battle 13-4. 

 

Caitlyn Harwood led the day for the Saints with three saves. 

 

Next Up, The Siena Heights Women's Soccer team will be headed to the WHAC Playoffs.
