Siena Heights women's soccer player Caitlyn Harwood was named WHAC Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday. Harwood played all 180 minutes in goal for SHU as the Saints went 1-0-1 last week.
In the two games, Harwood compiled a 0.50 goals-against average and .833 save percentage. Siena Heights tied Mount Vernon Nazarene, 1-1, on Wednesday before defeating Goshen on Saturday, 2-0. Harwood made three saves in each game.
The Saints (4-0-3) will return to action on Saturday with their WHAC opener -- a 4 p.m. home game against Northwestern Ohio.
