ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. -- Parker Cheney scored the game-winning goal as the Siena Heights women's soccer team claimed a 2-1 victory over non-conference Roosevelt on Saturday.
An own goal by Roosevelt served as the go-ahead goal in the 55th minute and then Cheney added on to the SHU lead in the 86th minute.
The host Lakers scored their only goal in the 88th. Siena Heights held Roosevelt (0-2) without a shot the rest of the way.
Caitlyn Harwood earned the win in goal, making four saves.
The Saints (3-0) will continue their western trip with a visit to Judson on Monday.
