ADRIAN, Mich. – The Siena Heights women's soccer team tied 3-3 with Rochester in a rain-soaked contest inside O'Laughlin Stadium on Wednesday night. The Saints held a two-goal lead in the 64th minute, but two goals in the final 13 minutes of play knotted things up before the end of regulation.

Isabel Remar got things going for the Saints with a goal in the final 90 seconds of the first half. Marissa Young led Remar with a beautiful pass that pushed the play deep into the Rochester box. The Warriors' goalkeeper overplayed the ball, leaving the net unattended for Remar to give SHU the 1-0 lead.

The Warriors tied things up 70 seconds later after a rebounded save was put back into the net with just one tick left in the half.

Alyssa Fischer scored off a free kick that took a perfect bounce over the head of Annabelle Yeloushan (T, 2-1-2) and broke the tie in the 63rd minute. Lily Tiplady added to the advantage just over a minute later when she took a pass and worked around a defender to beat the keeper left and give the Saints a 3-1 lead.

Rochester cut the deficit in half with a score in the 77th minute before tying things up on a free kick in the 85th.

Kendall Wise (T, 1-1-1) made five saves in the contest while SHU outshot the Warriors 21-9. Rochester was forced to make seven saves to remain in the game. The Saints also dominated with a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.

Quote from Coach: "Give credit to Rochester for capitalizing on their chances down the stretch."
