ADRIAN, Mich. – The Siena Heights women's soccer team improved to 5-2-0 with a 4-0 victory over Saint Francis (Ind.) inside O'Laughlin Stadium on Saturday afternoon. This win is the fifth straight for the Saints.

Isabel Remar led the way for Siena Heights as she scored the contest's first goal after a scramble in the box caused the Cougar goalkeeper to lose the ball, and Remar tapped it in for the 1-0 lead in the seventh minute of play.

Remar was in on the following scoring play with a cross into the box to Marissa Young, who put the ball away to double the lead as the teams entered halftime.

Emily Broman put a corner kick into the perfect spot for Olivia Emert to head in the third goal for SHU in the 52nd minute of play. The final tally was another header off a cross from Remar to Sarah Ammon in the 53rd minute.

The Saints dominated play with 23 shots and four corner kicks while the defense held Saint Francis to two shots, only one of which was on goal. Caitlyn Harwood (W, 2-1) earned the win in 55:46 of play between the pipes.

Quote From Coach: "I think we had an impressive performance from all three levels of our team. We scored some beautiful goals, made great defensive plays, took control of the game, and made it look relatively simple."
