ADRIAN, Mich. – The Siena Heights women's soccer team won its third-straight game with a 1-0 victory over Huntington inside O'Laughlin Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Saints' defense was stifling throughout the contest as they only surrendered two scoring opportunities to the Foresters, both of which were saved by Katie Carver (W, 1-1).

Marissa Young put the difference maker on the board when she beat the Huntington goalie on the right side after taking a pass from Erin Tyson into the box in the 12th minute.

Young finished with a game-high five shots on goal. Allie Balasico had two shots on goal. Emily Broman and Isabel Remar each had one shot on goal.

The Saints dominated with 29 shots to the Foresters' three. SHU took all nine corner kicks in the game as well.

Quote From Coach: "I am very happy with our performance today. Their goalie deserves credit for keeping the game close. I thought we played great team defense, and we were cohesive on offense."
