ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's soccer team pulled away from Mobile in a 3-0 win inside of O'Laughlin Stadium on Labor Day. The Saints (3-1-1) proved to be too much for the Rams (0-3-1) as they paced play throughout the entire 90 minutes of regulation.

Marissa Young put SHU on the board first with a penalty kick in the 42nd minute to tally her third consecutive game-winning goal. Sarah Ammon scored the insurance goal off an assist from Lily Tiplady just over a minute later and the home team took a 2-0 lead into the locker room at the half.

The final score came in the 74th minute when MacKenzie Stenzel sent a free-kick that was just outside the box on the near side of the field and beat the goalkeeper to the top right of the net. The goal was Stenzel's first of the season.

SHU dominated play outshooting Mobile 25-4 in the game. The Saints also held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks. Kara Bishop (W, 3-0-1) benefitted from the tough play of the Siena Heights defense as she faced no shots to register her third-straight shutout win.
