ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's soccer team earned its second win of the season after a 4-0 rout of Kentucky Christian on Saturday night. The Saints (2-1-1) dominated the Knights (0-2) and kept the ball in the offensive end for much of the night. The win was number 250 for head coach Scott Oliver.

Marissa Young was outstanding as she led the Saints with three goals that included the game-winner. She finished with five shots, four on goal for the game. Lily Tiplady tallied a team-high six shots, three of which were on goal. Isabel Remar tallied two shots on goal, both of which were good scoring chances.

Young got things rolling with her first goal in the 14th minute of play. She received a long dump pass from Sophie Zelek and beat the Kentucky Christian goalkeeper, Millie Conod (L, 0-2) to give SHU the 1-0 lead.

Isabel Herden passed the ball across the box to Young who tapped it into the net on a two-on-one situation for the insurance goal as the Saints took the 2-0 lead into the locker room at the half.

Young finished off the hat trick in the 51st minute when she outpaced the defense to get a pass from SHU goalkeeper, Kara Bishop (W, 2-0-1) that she put past Conod for the 3-0 advantage.

Morgan Llewellyn scored off a corner kick from Sarah Ammon in the 87th minute to finish off the scoring for the Saints. The score was Llewellyn's first career goal as a Saint.

SHU outshot KCU 30-3 and also won the corner kick battle 9-2.
