KANSAS CITY -- The Siena Heights women's soccer team received votes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Saints received 31 votes in the poll.

Defending NAIA national champion, Spring Arbor, received all 15 first-place votes to top the national rankings.

Siena returns senior All-WHAC selection Paige Rachut and 2015 All-America Honorable Mention Taylor Mulder. Rachut had the fifth-most points on the team in 2017 when she scored four goals and two assists. Mulder tallied the second-highest points with 19 (7 goals, 5 assists).

The SHU women are set to open the 2018 campaign with a home contest against Point Place (Pa.) on Tuesday, August 28. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., EST.
