Eastman FInishes Concordia in Double-OT For #19 Women's Soccer

ADRIAN, Mich. – Danielle Eastman netted the game-winner in Siena Heights women's soccer 1-0, double-overtime victory over Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference opponent Concordia, on Wednesday.

In regulation, the Saints outshot the Cardinals 11-6 with no turnover. Samantha Bartelotti led SHU with four shots, including two on frame. Siena Heights went through the first overtime outshooting CUAA 3-1.

With 8:09 remaining in the second overtime, Taylor Mulder slotted a ball through the Cardinal defense and goalkeeper where Eastman finished on an open net.

Goalkeeper Meghan Bogg earned the shutout for the Saints, making four saves. For CUAA (5-4-0, 1-1-0), Maria Lulgjuraj stopped six shots in net.

Overall, Siena Heights outshot CUAA, 16-8, while the Cardinals held a 6-3 corner kick advantage.

Next up, SHU (6-2-2, 2-0-0) will host Lawrence Tech in WHAC action on Saturday for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
