#14 Women's Soccer Defeats Madonna in WHAC Tournament

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Two goals from Taylor Mulder lifted the 14th-ranked Siena Heights women's soccer team to a 3-0 victory over Madonna, on Saturday. This win brings the Siena Heights women's soccer program to 400 wins. 

The deciding factor for the Saints (17-3-0) came from Mulder in the 28th minute, when she finished a pass from Madison Phillips

Siena Heights kept rolling in the second half, Mulder scored a second goal in the 55th minute, assisted by Samantha Bartelotti. The final goal for the match was scored in the 84th minute, when Bartelotti finished a rebound for the Saints. 

Winning goalkeeper Meghan Bogg made three key saves in net for the Saints, stopping two breakaways and a free kick. Blaire Schmalenberg stopped ten shots in net for the Crusaders (10-8-1).

The Saints will be back in action, on Saturday, in the WHAC Tournament Championship against 2nd-ranked Northwestern Ohio. Siena Heights will travel to UNOH for the match, kickoff time TBA.
