ADRIAN, Mich. -- A second half goal sank the 13th-ranked Siena Heights women's soccer team to a 2-1 loss against Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference opponent Aquinas, on Friday. 

Samantha Bartelotti scored the lone goal for the Siena Heights Saints (12-3-0, 5-2-0) in the eighth minute off of a cross from Danielle Eastman. Allison VanPatten evened the score for Aquinas in the 14th minute, scoring from a rebound off Anya Pallas's shot. Winning goal was scored by AQ Saint Jessica Parry in the 59th minute off of a Mikayla Goldsmith corner-kick. 

Taylor Hill made one stop in net for SHU while counterpart Lindsay Armstrong stopped 11 shots in goal for Aquinas (7-4-2, 3-2-1). 

Siena Heights outshot Aquinas, 28-5. Aquinas held a 2-1 corner-kick advantage over SHU.

The SHU Saints will be back on the road to play Davenport on Saturday, Oct. 24.
