Loar's Hat Trick Leads #18 Women's Soccer In Win Over York

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Emily Loar was Siena Heights' leading point-getter, accumulating three goals and one assist, as the 18th-ranked Saints' women's soccer team rolled to a 10-0 victory over York (Neb.) at Viterbo (Wis.) on Sunday.

Kacey Lawniczak and Rebecca Penny added two goals apiece while single goals were registered by Madison Phillips, Taylor Mulder and Erin Scheidel.

Assists were credited to Loar, Phillips, Mulder, Kelsey Schoenberger, Paige Rachut and Danielle Eastman.

SHU, which scored nine times in the first half, held a 40-3 shot advantage for the game. Winning goalie Taylor Hill finished with three saves.

York goalies Jenna Shipley and Kacee Walsh combined for 15 stops.

The Saints will play again on Monday against Viterbo.
