#17 Women's Soccer Upset by Concordia

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The 17th-ranked Siena Heights women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Concordia in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action on Saturday.

CUAA's Julia Palushaj scored the game's lone goal on a free kick, putting the Cardinals (8-4-3, 2-3-1) ahead in the 23rd minute.

Siena Heights goalkeeper Crystal Wilcoxen finished with two saves while Concordia goalie Jade Antolec had five stops.

SHU outshot the Cardinals, 11-6, and held a 4-3 corner-kick advantage.

The Saints (12-3-0, 4-2-0) will play their next contest -- the regular-season home finale -- on Tuesday against Aquinas. The WHAC contest will begin at 7 p.m.
