Michels, Frey Key SHU Women's Soccer Comeback Past UNOH

LIMA, Ohio -- Megan Michels and Paige Frey scored goals within 3:03 of each other as the Siena Heights women's soccer team earned a 2-1 comeback win over Northwestern Ohio in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Wednesday.

Frey's goal was the game-winner as she converted a header off a free kick in the 83rd minute. Kelsey Young took the free kick and was credited with an assist. Michels had tied the contest at 1-all in the 80th minute.

UNOH's goal was scored by Sarah Huchet in the 35th.

Crystal Wilcoxen was SHU's starting goalkeeper. She made one save before she was relieved by Ashley Elliott, who stopped one shot and earned the win.

Nadine Stonjek was between the pipes for UNOH (8-5-0, 2-2-0), finishing with three stops.

Siena Heights (6-6-1, 2-2-0) will be in action next on Saturday with a 12:30 p.m. WHAC match at Lawrence Tech.
