Women's Lacrosse Ends Florida Trip With Loss To #5 Keiser

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team suffered a 14-6 loss to fifth-ranked Keiser in non-conference action on Thursday.

Jenna Allie and Emily Pringle scored three goals each for the Saints (1-2). Ava Lazzareschi added three caused turnovers and two groundballs while Sophia Baugh controlled four draws.

In the cage, Lucy Stedam totaled 15 saves.

The Saints trailed 7-4 at halftime, building some momentum with the last two goals of the second quarter -- one by Allie and one by Pringle. Keiser answered in the second half with the next six goals.

SHU will return to action on Tuesday with its home opener -- a 4 p.m. home contest against non-conference Midland.
